He's not a central midfielder (he's really rather bad and ineffectual in there). Why the hell he didn't play brellier and Russell in the middle with Croft wide on Saturday only Grant knows.

We had a left back/left sided midfielder at central midfield and a central midfielder on the right wing. Worthy-esque.
