Firstly, some of the teams in our League would love the ability to sign some of the players we have because most wouldn't afford their wages let alone any sort of transfer fee, for example, Colchester and Scunthorpe. Secondly Grant cannot be described as a 'young, intelligent manager' because he's never managed before and therein lies the rub because the Board took a punt on somebody who had never been in charge. A student of the game he maybe but a man manager he clearly isn't. He berates his own players publicly, calls opposition players 'cheats' and blames the officials all the time. Thirdly, and perhaps the most salient point, managers lose their way when they can't motivate players. Hucks is clearly less than impressed and the body language of many of the players is dreadful. Hope he can turn it around but can't see it myself.
