I'm not surprised by the state we are in

Although we haven't started at all well this season it isn't really much of a surprise.

We sold three parts of the "spine" of the team - Etuhu, Earnie and Safri. Yes I know all three could be inconsistent at times but they are all proven effective Championship players.

We replaced them (Cureton the exception) with bargain basement crap, the money spent on Strihavka could have bought much better elsewhere. I don't care what anybody says Strihavka and Chris Brown are just not good enough.

The Turner family "investment" is not really an investment at all, it's a loan. That pair of gormless muppets piss me off, they were very keen to get their ugly mugs in the papers, yet haven't put cold hard cash on the table for squad strengthening.

Whilst I like Grant's passion, he should never have been given the job in the first place as he is well out of his depth. Cambridge United would be the size of club he should be managing, not us.

I will always support the club, but I am very disillusioned with the way things are being run at the present time.
