Worthington's transfers .... a theory

Worthington's transfers were better before the transfer window was introduced.

I think he probably had a good idea of the players he wanted but was not very good at managing the competition during the hectic window.

Previously transfers could be made in a less pressured environment.

But this could just be bollox.
