... And journalist, agent, and general footballing factotum asked me what I thought about Delia's running of the club. I told him of her fondness for patronising little ole Norwich nonsense, and about Doomcaster's constant excuses re: agents' demands and our geographical location too. Here's what he said in response:
"I read an article recently saying that Norwich was the most invested in urban area outside of London, attracting the square mile boys due to its easy access from London. Mr Doncaster is basically saying that he's a plonker. He should be thundering the message that Norwich is the place to be if you want great property in chilled surroundings, yet within relative close proximity to the lights of London. Pillock!
> Delia, though, is far too inclined to pop up in the press with her thoughts on "little old Norwich"
This is where she probably flunks the most. I'm sure she means well, but no fan wants to think of their club like some fusty old uncle who wets his chair, talks about the war all day long and who only wears grey or brown. Norwich isn't a non league club! This leads me to believe that what she needs is a balls out chief exec who can shake her up a bit and get your club moving again."
How come he can see this - yet those in charge either can't, or refuse to say so in public?
