When I watch them play

it seems blindingly obvious to me that Doherty is the problem. And yet, when he doesn't play we don't actually look any better at the back. I think there are two things missing - firstly a proper centre back pairing - and I don't think any of the pairings we have tried since Malky left have been any good, and a "Gary Holt" in front of them. Since he got s**t we haven't had that either - although Brellier looked more like it for those few minutes yesterday, one stunning bit of work in our box.
