Well...

since we had the same defence against Cardiff and Palace he can hardly have been the difference between victory and defeat in those games. And he was clearly at fault for the Cardiff winner. Doherty would have been slaughtered for that. Yes he plays better than the other 2, but he's a 38-year old centre forward and occasionally it shows.
