Norwich will let more promising youngsters go on loan in the next fortnight or so. Bally Smart has joined MK Dons, to follow Joe Lewis at Morecambe, Rossi Jarvis will be loaned out to either Peterborough or Leyton Orient with Andrew Cave–Brown set to go to either Dagenham & Redbridge or Peterborough. All 4 players are seen as first team contenders in the next year or so, these moves are regarded as the near completion of their pre–first team education. Michael Spillane is already close to a first team call at centre back, so won't be going anywhere. However, the remaining City loanee players, Paul Gallacher (Dunfermline) and Ryan Jarvis (Kilmarnock) are not expected to return to Carrow Road, Gallacher interests Hearts, as well as Dunfermline, whilst Jarvis will look to a decent run of games and goals at Killie to secure a move to either Aberdeen, Dundee United or Kilmarnock–the anticipated £750'000 being an issue with one of these clubs, plus another suitor, thought to be Hibs.
Despite speculation, Fitz Hall will not be joining City, Peter Grant has his eye on Sheffield United's Matt Kilgallon and Leyton Orient's Alton Thelwall as centre half options. One other player interesting the Carrow Road regime is Fraser Richardson at Leeds United.
Stephen Frail, currently at Hearts, will be the new Norwich City 1st team coach, this will be announced at the beginning of next week.
