Well, unless I'm being rather stupid, it happens, that's similar, if not less.

I can't be arsed to look it all up.

But top rate here is effectively 51%.
Council tax is higher (them bins are f**kun heavy)
Tax on fuel, fags and booze etc is higher too. VAT is a bit less.
