Fear of paralysis would prevent me from allowing my son

to ever play it. Way too brutal and disfiguring. my boss used to come in every Monday with a black eye, squashed nose or some other facial wound.

And the number of people suffering serious injuries playing amateur rugby is too high for my liking.
