Me personally, I like to watch football cos it's skillful, there's a reason why they are good at it, and it isn't because they are 15st+ and can barge their way to a line. It's because they have skill over endurance. And in the modern game of football, you need both, whereas in rugby, you basically need one

Fair enough Wilkinson has skill, but that's one player out of the team with talent

It's a bit like being 6ft 4 and classing yourself as a tennis player just because you can rifle a first serve in, which is why players like that don't often win at tennis, cos they base their whole career on a perfected golf swing
