was when Hucks was first brought on (he looked v dangerous for 5 minutes - the goal almost arrived)
Hucks came on for chadwick
Lappin stayed very left and Hucks played forward left, our right wing disappeared. This actually worked ok apart from the big gap on the right.
When Brellier went off, Croft came on they created a 3 in the centre, the left side looked empty with hucks so far forward. We immediatly failed to get much of the ball and looked so open it was untrue, just spaces everywhere on the pitch.
Cardiff took advantage and we didnt get hold of the ball much after this.
Again this makes me think Hucks works far better up front but you need the midfield to work hard and push up like Francis used to, and if you have a 3 you need two other hard workers willing to get back ala Svenny and Leon, not like Cureton. Russell and Brellier could do the midfield job IMO, but not with Croft who looked a fish out of water in the middle.
