'cutting costs'

there is a great article linked on here or the pinkun before, about people coming in and 'cutting costs' at clubs.

I think the article basically said its all well and good but a decent Championship player is going to cost you 1 million quid and 10,000 a week wages. Even with all the good intentions and cost cutting, in the end cold hard cash the money man is willing to 'give' the football club is what will help the club progress. Assuming it is well spent.
