I agree with that

but the fact is the board gave him a decent budget to spend and he spent it. He blew it but that isn't the board's fault. All managers, even excellent ones (which Worthy wasn't), make cockups. Ferguson spent £27m on Veron and Wenger spent £8m on Jeffers for example. Unfortunately a club with our resources can't afford to just spend more money to cover such mistakes up (that's true for pretty much all clubs in our position). So sometimes sh*t happens. The last few years it's been our turn. The few years before were pretty good. Life is like that. Good times will be back. Grant IS learning his trade (as all quality managers have had to do when they began). We have to be patient while he does so and hope he learns quickly.
