I sit just behind the dugout and my thoughts on yesterdays game and problems with Grant

We should have won and killed the game off in the first half. Trouble is when we went 1 up Grant decided to protect it rather than rip them to shreds. He seems very naive as a manager. We shat on them in the first half hour but then grant started with all the pointing and shouting to sit back when we shoud have gone for it. Grant uses the players as his personal puppets and doesn't allow for creativity and individual inventiveness. He reminds me of Mr Burns (in the baseball episode) on the sidelines confusing the players with over elloborate directions. I'm beggining to think we will never get promoted with Grant in charge.Dublin is a god and it was so nice seeing a CB commanding the back 4 ala Malky. Brown works hard but should not be our starting striker at home, good outlet for away games. Rusty played well but was confused by grant constantly. Chadwick is a headless chicken with some good periods though, Semi plays better with Crofty. Doc wasn't as bad as normal today. Grant has done some good things, he has got rid of the deadwood and has got rid of the I'm too big for this club and has a bunch of honest pro's. However we now need someone to come in to take the club forward, yes it's harsh and I'm not one for rash conclusions but unless he can solve 3 important questions/issues then he has to go and that's:

1. Shut the f**k on the sidelines and stop confusing your players, give them some freedom of expression on the pitch.

2. Learn how to kill poor poor teams off when we are murdiring them, stop killing the high tempo we start to build.

3. stop being an idiot over martin, maybe he didn't follow the summer fitness programme but he has a spark of talent the team is missing especially when we don't have a fully fit hucks.
