How much longer before a centre half arrives?

How many seasons have we been saying that we need a quality centre half. Shacks is still learning the trade, Dion prefers to be up front and can't be expected to play the full ninety every time and the Doc does not cut the mustard. We need to plan for Dion's retirement - get someone in before its too late. Yesteday should be a lesson learnt and one that should not be repeated.
