RE Chris Brown

Yeah but you've got to remember with Brown, Grant probably knew when signing him he ISN'T a goalscorer, and like Neil Adams (If you heard him on Canary Call) said he's got his good points. It just goes to show when you don't have much money, or choose not to take any risks your going to get players like Brown instead of your Eastwoods or Iwelumo etc.
