McLaren, Bentley etc

McLaren on Augut 18th:

"I think his reaction has been very very good. I've said that to him, and I said we are looking for a reaction - a positive reaction - on and off the field."

Now we know why. McLaren phones him and says: "I've got to leave you out of this pointless game against the Germans - you put your feet up lad because you'll be in the squad for the games that actually matter."

I couldn't give a s**t whether he's guilty, punished, in the squad or not - but this f**king pretence that he has in some way paid for a supposed misdemeanour is the most horrific load of old balls.

With every week that passes 'team England just find new ways to make the process of watching and supporting them utterly unpalatable.
