My abiding memory of Rob Newman

We got gubbed 4 nil at home by Charlton. Newman was playing upfront. At 2-0 a long ball went through to the Charlton keeper. Newman trudged back towards the halfway line whereupon the Charlton keeper miskicked from his hands. It hit the unaware Newman on the arse and rebounded back into the net with some force.
Unfortunately, the ref hadn't been watching so assumed Newman had blocked it deliberately and disallowed the goal.
