well not from my own experience..........

i worked in my village store, got paid cash in hand. every week i went to the bank and paid my cash into my bank account that i did not want to spend. however when it came to me wanting a debit card, i was refused one with the cashier saying my account "wasnt active enough".

i asked why and they said that whilst i paid in, i didnt make withdrawls, thus making my account not active enough to warrant a debit card. i explained that i got paid in cash and i didnt need to make withdrawals as i only paid in what i didnt want and that having a debit card would allow me to make my account "active" by paying for stuff online...

the cashier said that instead i should have paid in my cash, walked away from the desk and then draw out the money i wanted from the cash machine!

so i closed my accounts with them. bunch of useless morons
