I was there! Views on last nights game.

As I was in the UK for my brothers wedding I took in the Rochdale game last night.

I also thought I would wait till the morning to post my thoughts for those who did not go or listened on the radio.
Not sure what Adams and Co said about the game?

For starters I understand we had some players missing and others not 100% fit.
I am also very pleased we got the win.

Frankly we were shocking, Rochdale probably had 15 good chances to score in the whole match.
They should have won because they totally outplayed us.
If Hucks wouldnt have played I dont think we would have created many chances, he was virtually our only outlet.
Doc has been getting stick but frankly we defended horribly as a team.
This against a team who we should have controlled pretty easilly.
Yes, its one game, but its a worrying sign.

Would replacing Doc and Shacks help, yes probably, BUT........ a lot of the problems last night were caused by the way rochdale carved through the midfield and down the wings.......... hardly the fault of the Doc and shacks.
Yes Doc was pretty bad and was lucky to not cost us a goal. But to blame him totally is wrong even if i personally think he should be replaced.

Maybe we need to spend some money on bringing in a specialist defensive coach to try and oganize us better.
If we cant stop Rochdale going forward we are probably going to struggle in the championship.
