Brennan, Bentley, Jarrett & Gallacher were all signed during the months of May & June.

Etuhu, Hucks, Ashton, Sven & Earnie were all signed once the season had actually started. As were Malky, Mullers, Drury & Holt.

Conclusion - Signing players in the summer months is no guarantee of success, while good players are not necessarily unavailable once August arrives.
