i agree it's not the point,

but the argument that they would've been relegated without Tevez doesn't really hold water either (which was my point, though probably not very well made)

for what it's worth i do think they've got off way too lightly and should've had points deducted, but i'd rather be competing against Sheff Utd next season than Wet Spam

(i'm showing a bit of wild optimism there that we'll actually be competing for promotion/play offs...)
