that the signings of Maschereno and Tevez upset the balance of the squad that did so well the season before and that without them they would never have go quite so above themselves, arrogantly believing that they only had to turn up in order to win

an attitude that left them in a relegation battle and (something like) 10 points from safety at the turn of the year

ideally i'd have liked them to go down, but moreso for Colin Wanker to get shafted
