I know it looks daft and is a good laugh that they got relegated to a lot

But Leeds didn't just go through admin in a week with Bates protecting his 10m investment. It's pretty impossible to do so. If it was just a case of doing that, I reckon Ipswich could have tried it and avoided relegation

With hindsight in mind, it looks like Leeds's situation could have been a very well and precise thought out venture from bates, with the management team in on it as well

I can well see Beckford being the main striker up front for leeds next season and his team at sc**thorpe was just an initiation into leeds first XI if they went down
