I understand your point....and partially agree with you....

but we don't know the whole situation, some reports claim they could even see the door of thier apartment from where they were sitting. I don't think it is possible to say that as a parent you/kids have never been in a situation where a kid could have been taken. BBQ in back garden with front door unlocked??? as an example, I think they were wrong but also very unfortunate that they have been put in a situ that would be every parents worst nightmare, and that if the worst happens something that they will never be able to forgive themselves for and don't think that slagging them off (and I know you wern't doing this directly) helps them. Which is something they will here from people.
