he's wrong about 'nobody at all' questioning Leeds' spending though

me and a friend at work were at the time regularly questioning a Leeds-supporting colleague about how they could possibly be affording to spend all this money. We even had a spreadsheet set up to work out just how much more money they were spending than anyone else.

As far as I can remember, not many others at the time were going on about it though. And no reason for Mick to have known about our spreadsheets, I suppose...
