Re: Chelsea 'arrogance'.

I wouldn't call Chelsea an arrogant club. They're owned by an arrogant man and supported by a great deal of arrogant glory-supporters, but of the fans who have been there for the past four decades, I don't know a single one of them who had asked for the club to be bought out.

The malicious bullying my mum (a Chelsea fan of forty years) has had to put up with this year from her colleagues at work because the club came either second or third in all major competitions is shocking. Five years ago, if they were to go out of a competition on penalties after a close and well-fought game the country wouldn't have batted an eye-lid.

What changed? Why have United suddenly heroic representatives of the 'real' football after years of being a massive commercial and industry-destroying empire? Why is everyone so quick to shoot a team down because of their success? It makes me sick, to be honest.
