I've previously only seen such items on the TV at Tennis and Athletics tournaments, but they're invading football in general and the cathedral that is FCR in specific? And no-one is doing anything about it?

I can understand kids wanting to a) follow a recent trend, and b) use some cheapo device to make noise, but for f**ks sake I saw GROWN ADULTS moronically battering these things together like mongs yestdee. Did they all come to the game in the sunshine bus with the spethial lift on the back? Must have been a f**king great deal of thoses buses if so.

And *that* is the real tragedy of the weekend. Not the pathetic way City stood back and let Ippo play in the second half, but the yellow inflatable bangy-together tubes.
