Actually a pretty fair point

It does make me wonder on the relative importance whcih we attach to human life. 30 US students killed on campus by a nutter with a gun - world news for days and days. 30 Iraqi civilians killed by suicide bombers - page 14. 2 people die in rail crash - headline news. 2 people die of starvation in Africa - not news.

Media priorities aren't nice, really.
