This is really childish

but the "true fans" comment really rankled and I still haven't forgiven him.

Oh, and the squandering of one of the brighter possible futures we have had in recent decades.

Doesn't take the championship season away at all - but he then broke up the "whole that was greater than the sum of its parts" which rather spoiled it.
