Yes it's different in England

For a start, their clocks are a few hours behind, and they speak English. Also, the currency tends to be Pounds Sterling. And the weather is pretty crap in comparison (in general).

But seriously, is it not self-evident ? First-year scholars are in their first year at the academy, etc....
