Articles like that piss me off a bit

"Footballers are thick". Well, compared to "most", probably yes that's true. However, "most" can't play football very well.

Put differently, it's fashionable to sneer at someone with the level of skill required to play football at a professional level for being "thick". But imagine a bunch of Cambridge professors trying to play football.
