I started that one (a modest contribution to the lexicon). It was because I google-imaged "Peter Thorne" and one of the images that came up was a middle-aged man in a tweed jacket who looked the spitting image of an Edwardian uncle. Hence "Uncle Peter". If you google-image it now the picture still comes up but when you click on it it turns out no longer to be available.
