Was it though? How would anyone know in advance? The thing is you need squillions to fling

at a club and hope that some of it sticks. I remember Villa bunging loads of cash to get up and they only stayed up one season because of a dodgy goal line call. Obviously I don’t want Ipswich to stay up but I always want an underdog to do well and really it’s depressing that the 3 go up and the same 3 come down. I suppose we dream of being a Brentford/Brighton/Bournemouth kinda club? I think similar size, well run and possibly reasonable ethics (someone will tell me different,I know, I CBA to look into it).
I’m hearing “worst premier league season ever” a lot, well yes if you’re West Ham, Spurs or Man U, but excellent for the smaller clubs who don’t get so much coverage. I can’t believe how s**t those 3 have been.
