Virtually without exception they thought GO'N an honourable man, straightforward in his dealings with both the press (local and national ) & general public and certainly not as you suggest. Last year especially he was well liked.
He was dealt an awful hand by the fixture list at the start of the season (as indeed he was last season). In previous year he was able to turn it round, this time round less so....
His legacy tbf hasn't been helped by the fact his successor did prove to be very good with the same set of players and that is a fair point of criticism.
For what it's worth I would be prepared to go with Wiltshere if backed up by experienced deputies. However alternately I am ok with G'ON and third choice RM. I do not want Cooper at all.
Just about opinions though isn't it.
