When I was a kid

We were surrounded by air bases and American serviceman and their families.

They were lovely people and that's always stuck with me.

A full on cheesy tour of the US is firmly on my bucket list. I'd go tomorrow if I had the time & cash. Never met an American I didn't get on with.
