I'm going to come out and say it....

The manager or coach position in virtually all professional sports is such horses**t.

It's always that person that takes the hit even when a lot of the factors that influence success are totally out of their hands.

It's been quoted many times....you can't sack the team.... or even sack the owners...

Saying all that, Managers/coaches take the job knowing they will almost certainly get sacked.
