I agree it's unlikely they'll deliver...

but that is also true of anyone else we might appoint. Once you don't have parachute payments the odds will always be against you. You need luck (with injuries etc) as well as doing a good job, which on its own probably won't be enough. So we might as well give this plan a proper chance.
Think it's a bit unfair to judge this season tbf. It's a transitional season with mainly players that were brought in to play a different system. Plus the constant changes from injuries/suspensions have made it pretty much impossible to achieve any sort of consistency and proper understanding.
