I never said "managers don't make a difference"

Why do my haterz continue to misquote everything I say.

I said they are overrated. You shlubz can't even quote me correctly.

In as their effect on the success of a team is overblown/overrated

I could give you a long line of managers who were successful with one team yet went somewhere else and did nothing.
Its not that they turned into a bad manager but that they just didn't have the players/recruitment to translate their ideas into success on the pitch.

If managers were as important as some think they would be successful everywhere (Spoiler Alert: They arnt)

If you don't understand the (not even subtle) nuance of my point then you should maybe stop posting.
