I’m very confused by that Kenny interview post match

On two fronts.

Firstly he says they are not being told to drop deeper by the coaches. But there is definitely a marked change in our approach and pressing after we go ahead/score in games.

Secondly he absolutely, correctly identifies what we do and what the (recurring) problem is but talks as though it’s beyond his control, despite the fact he’s on the pitch and arguably our most senior player. I’m not saying it’s all down to him but surely if you are in that role/position you show leadership and stop it from happening!

Still really frustrated by the last few games. How many opportunities we have thrown away. Transition season or not this team is talent and potential wise way better than recent results and our league position.
