JHT on Nunez and Gunn: “Neither will be in the squad tomorrow. We are aiming for the first game after the international break for Gunny. I expect Marcelino to be around the squad on Friday (against Bristol).”

JHT on team news: “No. I can’t even remember (who was fit).”

JHT on Forson: “He is available but only if we really need him. It took maybe a week longer, but he will be ready if needed.”

JHT on George Long: "There is a clear protocol we have to follow. He is in light training and will be ready for the game on Friday. It’s another good opportunity for Vicente (Reyes).”

JHT on Shane Duffy: "Shane Duffy is back available after discipline last week. f you ask 10 different managers, they would deal with it in 10 different ways. We have been clear from the start that if anything like that happens, then we have to see it as it is. The answer is easy to that.”

JHT on Kenny McLean: “Yes. He can (start games).”

JHT on rotating the squad: “I think we will freshen it up a little bit. It was good that Kenny came back on Friday, and rotation is needed because we play again on Friday.”

JHT on Jacob Wright: “I was really impressed with his performance against Hull. He was really poor in the first 15 minutes, but he grew into the game and learnt from his mistakes. This tells me he will be even better for us in the future.”

JHT on Jacob Wright: “I think we definitely try to (sign him permanently). The player also needs to be part of the contracts, when he evaluates the next step for his career. For us, he will be a very good fit. He is the type of player we are looking for.”

JHT on player contracts: "Decisions on out of contract players will happen in the next month. You have to wait and find a day to do this. We focus on performances and preparation at the moment. I think the middle or end of March will be good for this.”

JHT on Sheffield Wednesday away game: “That game came on the back of a trip to Cardiff when we done so well for 85 minutes, but then lost. That was a tough time of the season and we had to get through it.”

JHT on Tuesday night: "They're really competitive. They like to compete and step into duels and have those situations. We have to avoid those situations."
