I agree, although the best item I have recently bough was a torch off the amazons for £17.

It can light up clouds. I ended up getting three more for family gifts at Christmas and hope that they appreciate them as much as I do.
I did a similar things about 10 years ago and bought everyone a fantastic extension lead that I’d recently found in Thorns.
