Starmer clearly playing an absolute blinder in diplomatic terms despite the, errr, disappointing nature of his government so far; and wishing he’d gone full Merz and given the wotsit w**ker both barrels and announced policy to disentangle ourselves from yank land postehaste.

That was utterly shocking today.
