It's not just elite athletes like Paula Radcliffe and KentonCanary that this happens to, you get a few seconds warning that This Is Going To Happen and you just have to get in as discreet a place as possible within that time really. Anyone who's run even half marathons, or further, has had this happen to them (or are very lucky!).
