Excellent manager when his players are notably better than everyone else's players. Unproven when that's not the case.

I also think the comment yesterday about having to change styles from a footballing style to more cloggy (because everyone else will have better footballers than you, so you need to nullify that advantage to the extent that you can) was spot on.
