Will it do him any good? Likely to be out by the time the appeal's done

and the recall petition process will have been and gone and probably a bye-election will be underway. If he tries to row all that back it's going to be messy and probably not possible. I mean he's pled guilty so all he can appeal on is the sentence, or have I got that wrong?
