a more intelligent person than you would probably conclude that regardless of who goes up the gap between the Premier League and Championship is absolutely massive and therefore football is pretty much screwed.

The three that are promoted this season won’t fare any better next time around. The third best outfit that scrape up via the play-offs will be absolute cannon fodder.
