I think this is the issue

Bluesky, Threads - both require you to start again when you've been on Twitter for a long time so you can't carry all that history and interest across, and yet neither of them have the novelty that Twitter had when it launched so you don't have that factor. Bluesky seems to be trying too hard to be 'it's so much nicer here', whereas it's just a different flavour of the same topics, and equally tedious in a lot of cases. The Threads algorithm is ludicrously simplistic so you get a surplus of stuff because you clicked a reply once and that is very tedious.

All in all, now using Twitter to glance for items and that's about it. Feel like there are three platforms that collectively or individually don't do what Twitter pre Musk managed.

So I'm stuck on here.
