I've long been predicting a difficult winter but a strong finish

We threw those two points away Saturday, glad we have the opportunity to get straight back on the horse tomorrow night, with Sainz available as well.

From here I reckon a good chance that we do make the playoffs but quite a poor chance that we make Wembley as I think any of Burnley, Sunderland or Sheff U beat us over two legs.

I think this has clearly been a transition season and part of a multi-year approach. There's no such thing as too early to go up, but I will be judging the new regime more on next term than this.

When Hoffball works it's very easy on the eye and much more "Norwich" than Wagnerball or deansmithball ever was. It's not always working as it should but over the season I think we've definitely improved and it feels like we're recruiting well, with the obvious caveat that we won't know on the newbies till they've played several games.

No club has every single signing work out but we've seemed to struggle in that 5-10m bracket. probably because the big boys can buy ten of them and keep the two or three who kick on whereas that's significant in-basket eggage for us.

I do think last season's side beats this season's side but I also think next season's side beats either and I'm expecting a strong promotion push next term.
